Our Story
Valiant Barber Collective is based in Seattle WA, located in the Downtown area and our original location in Lower Queen Anne. We were founded and are owned by people who take great passion in practicing their craft and keeping things down to earth.
Colton Thomas
Colton, Owner of Valiant Barber Collective started his hair cut journey in 2017 and since then has been working hard to continue perfecting his skills. He’s known for his ability to do eccentric textured haircuts as well as clean classic haircuts. One of his main goals with the barbershop is to create a safe and welcoming experience for everyone that sits in his chair.

Collin Sells
Collin was a founding member of Valiant Barber Collective. He started his career in 2011 in downtown Spokane and from there has honed his craft in salons and shops including SEVEN and the Scotch Pine Barbershop, both in Seattle. There he learned that a barbershop was about peers and friends coming together to create community and fellowship. Collin currently works in the downtown location of Valiant.

Tyler Poole
Tyler has been behind the chair for over a decade. Originally from New England, he moved to Seattle and joined Valiant in 2017. He has complete skill set honed for any type of hair and style. Creativity is the outlet, constancy is the outcome.
Emilio Paul
Emilio is a Washington native born and raised from SeaTac to Auburn. He has honed his technique while barbering under Master Barber Jeff Olson while cutting in Tacoma. Since he grew up with fellow Valiant barber, Colton Thomas, Emilio naturally has an interest in vintage Volkswagens himself with his bagged 63 beetle at home. On his weekends you’ll likely find him at vintage car shows or in the mountains skiing.
Tyler Arnoldi
Tyler joined us from sunny Southern California. Starting his career in late 2014, he spent the first 6 years working at a traditional barbershop in Long Beach, CA. Since moving to Seattle in June of 2021, he’s been enjoying cutting all different styles of hair.
John Wesley
John, Nashville Native, joined Valiant beginning of 2023. John’s taken the experience from his years working on the salon side of the industry and is bringing those skills and more back to barbering, “I enjoy working with all hair lengths, and for my clients who choose to grow their hair out, I’m here to maintain that journey for you.”
Hannah Shouse
Since getting licensed in 2015 I’ve cultivated a skill set that caters to a wide range of hair types, shapes and lengths. I love a good challenge and I’m a firm believer that hair styles are genderless. It’s my passion to help people feel and look their best most confident authentic selves through delivering unique individualized styles and by providing a safe space for them while in my chair.
Chris Martinez
Chris moved to Seattle in 2015 from New Mexico, where he learned Barbering through a traditional barber college. Chris offers classic barber services with fresh style. His laid back demeanor makes him easy to talk to and his attention to detail ensure you’ll get the haircut you’re looking for.
